Om Japa Spin ring is made of stainless steel with a gold plated outer spin ring. This ring is designed to ensure you do your mantra with ongoing repetition and devotion. The Om Japa Spin ring is often placed on the pointer finger or the thumb so it can easily spin the outer part of the ring.
Please specify which size you would like. Made in three large sizes of 12.5 , 9.5 and 8.5 . On the inside of the ring is the sacred mantra etched into the inside shank that says OM NAMAH SHIVAYA.
Namah Shivaya means "Adoration to Lord Shiva", preceded by the devotional syllable Om". The syllable "Ya" at the end of the mantra denotes an offering. Thus the mantra Om Namah Shivaya actually means "I offer to Shiva a respectful invocation of His Name", and not merely "I respectfully invoke His Name". Wonderfully useful tool for any Bhakti of any philosophy!
Japa (Sanskrit: जप) is the meditative repetition of a mantra or a divine name. It is a practice found in Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Shintōism. The mantra or name may be spoken softly, enough for the practitioner to hear it, or it may be spoken within the reciter's mind.
