In order to keep my prices at a very competitive minimum I travel to China to purchase my pearls. The great majority of heartsforlove product is manufactured in the USA but for pearls I have to travel there to get the best price. As a certified gemologist I understand pearls and do not get low quality merchandise. Price should always relate to quality and I consider our pearls to be priced extraordinarily. I don't know if I can sustain getting this amazing luster and quality for this low a price for many more years.
When I purchase the pearls I have to consider Lustre , Surface, Shape, Color and Size in comparison to price. All of these pearls we sell are freshwater pearls that come from the Hryiopsis Cumingi mollusk. It takes 2 to 6 years to grow these pearls before harvesting from the rivers and lakes that i visit. I wouldn't be offering items that I don't directly manufacture if I was not amazed by the price and quality. So pearls are an exception to our business model of only selling what we get manufactured exclusively for Hearts for Love. We sell these because we know our prices are so competitive that our retailers should be very impressed. And yes I most definitely believe pearls are calming to wear and have an influence on ones well being. Edgar Cayce was once asked why he recommended pearls to wear and he replied that it was because a pearl is made by overcoming an irritation in an oyster and hence its frequency is similar to overpowering irritation.
Pearl increases emotional stability, mental strength, friendliness and contentment. Weakness or afflictions are shown by anxiety, mental and emotional swings, worry, isolation or the inability to cope with relationships and people. Ancient rishis discovered that natural gemstones have influence over the mind and body, so that one could have benefit in wearing one if it is in direct contact with the skin. The vibrations of gemstones interact with the subtle vibrations of planets and can mitigate some of bad influences of those.
